Credit Exactly What's Wrong. Nothing More.
A visit was cancelled, a line was billed in error, or a customer is owed a refund. Pick the lines, give a reason, and Micronomy raises a numbered credit note that links back to the original invoice and to the hours behind it.

From Mistake to Credit Note in Four Steps.
Works on invoices that are finalised, sent or already paid.
Open the invoice
Lines that are already credited are greyed out, with the credit note that covers them.
Choose what to credit
Pick individual lines, or the whole invoice to void it completely.
Add a reason
Every credit note says why it exists, so you can answer the customer and the auditor.
Finalise
The credit note gets the next number in your invoice series, and the original invoice is updated to match.
Corrections You Can Stand Behind.
Built so a credit is never lost, doubled or untraceable.
Credit some lines, or all of them
Correct a single line, several partial credits over time, or void the whole invoice in one go.
Never refund twice
Each line can be credited only once. Micronomy stops a second credit on the same line, even if two people try at the same moment.
Void and bill again
Fully void an invoice and its hours go back to unbilled, ready for your next invoicing run at the right price.
One unbroken number series
Credit notes are numbered in the same gap-free series as your invoices, as Swedish bookkeeping rules expect.
Visible on the timesheet
Each credited hour shows the credit note that covers it, its number and its date, so your team sees what was corrected.
Who, why and when
Every credit note records who raised it, the reason, and when it was finalised. Original invoices are never edited.
Coming Soon.
Credit notes that come from your pricing.
Automatic credits from price cuts
Lower a price with a past date in Pricing Matrix 2.0, and Micronomy drafts the credit notes for every affected invoice.
Manual or automatic at a glance
Every credit note shows whether a person raised it or a price change did, and links to that change.
No collisions
If a colleague already has a draft open on an invoice, you see whose it is, and automatic corrections wait their turn.
Pick the lines. Give a reason. Finalise.
Common Questions.
Can I credit an invoice that has already been paid?
Yes. Finalised, sent and paid invoices can all be credited, so a credit note also works as the record of a refund.
What happens to the hours on a voided invoice?
When you credit every line in one go, the invoice is fully voided and its hours return to unbilled. Your next invoicing run picks them up again.
Can I void an invoice that's already partly credited?
No. Credit the remaining lines instead. When the last line is credited, the invoice is marked as credited in full.
Can I change a credit note after creating it?
A draft can be discarded and raised again with different lines. Once finalised, a credit note is permanent, as your books require.
Why can I only have one draft per invoice?
One open draft at a time means two corrections can never contradict each other. Finalise or discard the draft, then raise the next one.
